Project
The project aims to impact SDG #15 by building up communities' capacity to respond and act upon the degradation of natural habitat, diversity loss, and the protection of wildlife.

Take urgent and significant action to reduce the degradation of natural habitats, halt the loss of biodiversity and, by 2020, protect and prevent the extinction of threatened species.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Week 2
Activity: The volunteer should creat informative posters about the animals with curiositys about them
Game: Scavenger hunt to find the signs of degradation in the habitat
Take active role in animal care. Help maintain cleanliness and safety.
Engage more with animals. Share sustainability ideas
Week 3
Deeper responsibility Move beyond the basics into more specialised care.
Workshop: How to create safe habitats for local wildlife, such as birds, insects, or small mammals.
Fieldwork: run activities in animal rescue centers
Week 4
Finalize awareness outputs. Reflect on your experience
Workshop: How to protect endangered species?
Activity: Run a challenge/competition within participant to make lifestyle choices that are less harmful to endangered species
