By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Facilitate reflection activities (what inequality looks like in daily life)
Introduce core concepts: human rights, equality & SDGs
Conduct interactive discussions + icebreakers to understand existing perceptions
Use case studies, videos, and storytelling to simplify global & local issues
Week 2
Explore topics like stereotypes, discrimination, access to education/work
Conduct debates, role plays, and group activities
Introduce SDGs (especially SDG 5 & 10) and their relevance
Encourage learners to identify issues within their own communities
Week 3
Train them in communication, storytelling, and advocacy basics
Guide participants to design small awareness campaigns
Create posters, presentations, or social media content
Facilitate teamwork through group projects
Week 4
Highlight key learnings and personal growth journeys
Execute mini campaigns / awareness sessions within community/school
Present projects through presentations, skits, or exhibitions
Conduct feedback & reflection sessions
