The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Assist with classroom organization and help create a comfortable environment for students to speak English.
Get familiar with the Conversation Club structure, teaching style, and expectations.
Observe existing conversation sessions and support the teacher as a Teacher Assistant during weekday classes.
Prepare simple speaking activities, icebreakers, and discussion topics suitable for students.
Week 2
Actively support weekday classes as a Teacher Assistant, helping students practice speaking and correcting basic mistakes.
Lead short speaking activities or warm-up discussions during classes.
Conduct the Weekend Conversation Club sessions.
Encourage participation and maintain a friendly, interactive atmosphere.
Week 3
Lead weekend Conversation Club sessions with more structured themes (travel, technology, culture, etc.).
Design engaging speaking activities such as debates, role plays, and group discussions.
Continue supporting weekday classes and assist students individually with speaking practice.
Organize an additional activity such as a Movie Day to encourage informal English practice.
Week 4
Evaluate student participation and provide suggestions for improving future conversation sessions.
Independently manage Conversation Club sessions and facilitate discussions effectively.
Support weekday classes and provide constructive feedback to students on fluency and pronunciation.
Introduce creative speaking formats (games, storytelling, problem-solving discussions).
