The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introduce the EP to the school, staff, and curriculum. Observe classroom teaching methods and student behavior to understand learning levels. Assist in setting up the classroom with teaching materials like charts, books, and visual aids
Week 2
Collaborate with teachers to design lesson plans for literacy, mathematics, science, and languages. Conduct introductory classes to gauge students’ knowledge levels and identify specific needs. Plan activities like storytelling, problem-solving exercises, and interactive science demonstrations.
Week 3
Conduct hands-on teaching sessions focusing on literacy and basic numeracy. Use creative methods such as role-plays, group discussions, and experiments to make lessons engaging. Introduce simple language learning exercises, including vocabulary games and storytelling.
Week 4
Lead project-based learning activities, such as creating science models or writing simple essays. Organize workshops on basic life skills like teamwork, time management, and effective communication. Focus on building problem-solving skills through collaborative tasks in mathematics. Share personal reflections on the teaching experience and hand over lesson plans and teaching materials for future use.
