Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Week 2
Dynamic: Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
Incursionar en los centros de salud local y hospital local, analizar forma de trabajo, distribución del personal, lograr comprender la historia de la salud de Gualeguay hasta la actualidad.
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries to track their development
Setting up a creative systems to increase the math knowledge of the beneficiaries "Creative Math" (puzzles, games, group activities)
Dynamic: Setting up the "Book Club", present the books to be cover during the project and explain the dynamic to the beneficiaries.

Dinámica con los alumnos de cruz roja, debatir sobre la salud pública de cada país, plantear proyectos para buscar mejoras en los centros de salud pública de los países participes.
Week 3
Weekly "Creative Math" Meeting
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Dar charlas en centros para niños o jóvenes sobre la historia de la medicina global y su importancia
Proyecto/actividad planteada por el voluntario para llevar a cabo. (Se puede alinear a la carrera del voluntario)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)

Week 4

Acudir a centros de ayuda para analizar la situación de esa institución y plantear proyectos a corto y largo plazo que mejore la calidad de vida de estas personas.
Week 5
Reunión con centros de salud para talleres/charlas de ESI, nuevas tecnologías, innovación en la medicina.

Week 6
Closing day with beneficiaries
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
