The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Get familiar with class routines, student groups, and learning challenges.
Volunteers are introduced to the school, staff, and Grade 8–9 English classrooms.
They observe English lessons to understand teaching methods and student levels.
Review the Maharashtra Board English syllabus and existing learning materials.
Week 2
Volunteers help teachers prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and reading activities.
Begin assisting in small lesson segments like vocabulary or grammar practice.
Observe student participation and note learning gaps.
Support in organizing teaching materials and classroom resources.
Week 3
Monitor student responses and adjust teaching approaches when needed.
Volunteers lead short sessions using reading exercises, writing tasks, or group discussions.
Use activity-based learning like roleplay, dialogues, or creative writing prompts.
Focus on improving comprehension, pronunciation, and written skills.
Week 4
Suggest ideas for strengthening English learning in upcoming cycles.
Review all sessions and compile data on student improvements.
Prepare a summary report covering learning outcomes and challenges.
Share findings with school mentors and AIESEC for future improvements.
