Project
The project aims to aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theatre, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Dynamic: Set up a short, fun challenge, such as creating a piece of art in a limited time or using only specific materials.
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Week 2
Build and present activities calendar considering beneficiaries' from practical learning until "hands-on" i.e. peer tutoring, chain drawings, jigsaws, etc
Work on an initial draft of the project’s main piece (e.g., the first scenes of a play, the first strokes of a mural, etc.) and then hold a feedback session with peers or mentors
Divide the final project into smaller activities and define the responsibles for each part of the whole creation
Run artistic first step activities with beneficiaries in order for them to have first contact with the different artistic materials and media (e.g. drawings vs painting, sculpturing, fotographies etc.)
Week 3
Create a Personal Development Plan for each participant to track their improvement weekly by a coaching system
Hold a workshop where participants can collaborate on a small art piece or experiment with different mediums related to the project (e.g., painting, sculpting, digital design).
Set aside time for individual or group reflection on personal artistic goals for the project. Participants can discuss what they hope to achieve or learn during the process
Dynamic: Set up a short, fun challenge, such as creating a piece of art in a limited time or using only specific materials.
Week 4
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Closing day with beneficiaries
Pair students' artwork with music, encouraging them to create visual pieces inspired by different musical genres, exploring the relationship between auditory and visual creativity.
