Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introduction to Global Classroom concept: flags, greetings, countries
Preschool structure, child safety, and teaching guidelines
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Ice-breaking activities with children
Observation of classroom routines and teaching methods
Week 2
Songs, rhymes, and phonics activities
Interactive reading and picture-based learning activities
Review of learning through games and creative activities
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries to track their development
Setting up a creative systems to increase the math knowledge of the beneficiaries "Creative Math" (puzzles, games, group activities)
Dynamic: Setting up the "Book Club", present the books to be cover during the project and explain the dynamic to the beneficiaries.
Dynamic: Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Basic language exposure (alphabets, simple words, greetings)
Storytelling and picture-based learning
Week 3
Cultural storytelling and discussion (traditions, food, festivals)
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Review of learning through games and creative activities
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Role-play and group interaction activities
Arts & crafts based on global themes
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week

Week 4
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week

Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Reflection session with teachers and children
Interactive play focused on inclusion and respect
Drawing and expression activities (feelings and emotions)
Group games to build communication and cooperation
Activities promoting sharing, kindness, and teamwork
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)

Week 5
Basic numeracy through play (counting, shapes, colors)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).

Weekly "Creative Math" Meeting
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Revision of literacy and language activities
Environmental awareness activities (simple habits and care)
Final classroom engagement and presentations
Preparation for project closure and review
Week 6
Closing day with beneficiaries
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Project recap and light classroom support
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Final interactive activities with children
Documentation and feedback collection
Project evaluation with school management
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
