Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Week 2
Drawing animals, houses, or landscapes inspired by different parts of the world.
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries to track their development
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Dynamic: Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
Playing traditional children’s games from different cultures. Creating simple crafts such as flags, drawings, or decorations representing different countries. Supporting preparation for intercultural sharing activities.
Learning simple dance movements inspired by different countries.
Week 3
Learning basic colors and shapes through drawing, coloring sheets, and group activities.
Coloring and creating simple flags from different countries using paper, crayons, and stickers.
Expressing feelings through painting and colors.
Exploring pictures of landmarks, animals, food, and daily life from different countries. Encouraging curiosity through questions, guessing games, and discussions appropriate to their age.
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Week 4
Creating drawings, masks, or simple cultural symbols inspired by different countries and cultures. Encouraging creativity while introducing visual elements of different cultures.
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Listening to music from different parts of the world. Recognizing rhythm, instruments, and expressing emotions through drawing or movement.
Week 5
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Preparing drawings, decorations, and simple cultural elements to present during the Global Village event. Supporting intercultural exchange through creative preparation.
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Week 6
Organizing a closing session with interactive games, music, and group activities to celebrate participation and engagement.
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Closing day with beneficiaries
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
