The project aims to impact the SDG #12 by raising awareness about the importance of sustainable communities & lifestyle through volunteer's experiences

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Map policies, regulations, and climate targets supporting responsible production.
Research global markets with high rPET demand and sustainability focus.
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Week 2
Shadowing phase with partner on current agriculture practices
Research and analyze: Sustainable practices and learnings for agriculture work
Workshop: Present to the partners Good Case Practices on agriculture activities that has been developed on recent studies and come up with an implementation plan together
Build a stakeholder database aligned with circular economy practices.
Identify sustainability-driven manufacturers, brands, and distributors.
Week 3
Develop materials highlighting rPET sustainability impact.
Support digital outreach and initial engagement with stakeholders.
Attend a sustainability exhibition(fully sponsored)in Delhi with the director and stakeholders to gain insights into rPET applications and industry best practices.

Research and analyze: Sustainable practices and learnings for agriculture work
Workshop: Present to the partners Good Case Practices on agriculture activities that has been developed on recent studies and come up with an implementation plan together
Week 4
Consolidate market and stakeholder insights into a sustainability report.
Documenting sustainable lifestyle practices introduced and implemented in the partners' site
Workshop: Present ideas/examples of recycling activities to implement in the beneficiaries' daily routines
Research and analyze: Current sustainable practices and responsible consumption actions the partner has
Recommend priority regions and strategies for responsible rPET adoption.
Week 5
Participate in guided sessions on sustainability leadership.
Support teams in integrating circular economy practices into operations.
Workshop: Present ideas/examples of recycling activities to implement in the beneficiaries' daily routines
Round Table: Responsible Consumption in our day-by-day life e.g water and energy control, food waste, obsolete devices usage, fashion industry and sustainability...
Research and analyze: Current sustainable practices and responsible consumption actions the partner has
Documenting sustainable lifestyle practices introduced and implemented in the partners' site
Week 6
Conduct review and knowledge handover sessions.
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Closing day with beneficiaries
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Finalize sustainability-focused documentation and learnings.
