Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Onboarding and analysis ● Onboarding space with a partner representative to understand the context and urgent needs of the youth. ● Analyze country issuesregarding youth employability and job-hunting related topicsin the country. ● Create and prepare material for the sessions, dynamics and workshops of the following weeks. ● With the help of the partner or teacher, create an assessment to evaluate beneficiariessoft and hard skills ● Determine measure of outcome system and material to be used
Week 2
Introductory ● Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives. ● Assessment of their current hard and softskills: where can they improve? ● Mentorship/buddy program based on whatsoftskills participants want to develop. ● Coordinate sessions with individual participantsto identify whatskillsthey want to develop. Set up a PDP with them
Week 3
Soft skills ● Activity: introspection space for participantsto realize their own strengths and weaknesses and identify what softskillsthey have and what they can improve. ● Softskill workshops based on demands and needs of participants. ● Developmentspaces(games, dynamics, role play, roundtables, etc) aboutsoftskills development:solution oriented, world citizen, empowering others,self awareness. ● Continue with buddy and coaching dynamics.
Week 4
Closing ● Collect data from project beneficiaries(you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.) ● Analyze data to determinate outcome results. ● Build a final project report and present to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
