Role

Project Activities

Week 1
EPs start preparing a proposal for a guided STEM project (individual work).
Briefing session: outline of individual STEM project (Robotics, Coding, AI, 3D Design) & team challenge to be developed during the program.
Engage in the physical classes and team challenges.
Hands-on training with OboPlay prototyping board (basic electronics & coding).
Welcome, team bonding, and introduction to RoboticGen Academy vision.
Weekly review meeting with Level 3 mentors + tech team.
Get familiar with the Mentors Toolkit (Mentor Guides, Report Writing, Student Progress Tracking).
Reflection & note-taking: observing teaching style, student needs, and tool usage.
EPs accompany Level 2 & 3 mentors in 1:1 student sessions (shadowing)
Hardware components and platform access may be provided (subject to availability).
EPs can team up (with support from Level 2 mentors) to brainstorm an interactive team challenge for Week 4.
Week 2
Hands-on training with OboCar robotics platform (movement, sensors, obstacle avoidance).
Mini challenge: build a simple obstacle avoidance robot.
Mentor training session from Level 3 mentors on accommodating student learning needs.
Engage in the physical classes and team challenges.
Continue shadowing Level 2 & 3 mentors in 1:1 sessions.
Brainstorm & refine individual project ideas with guidance from mentors.
Weekly review meeting to finalize project direction.
A session on Robotics with a demo on Obo Dog (Quadruped robot of RGen Labs)
Week 3
Begin prototyping individual STEM projects proposed by EPs.
Receive feedback from Level 3 mentors and EdTech content developers to refine projects.
Engage in the physical classes and team challenges.
Each EP runs 2–3 independent student mentoring slots (supervised if needed).
Share refined projects with selected students for feedback.
Continue developing the individual STEM project.
Team meeting to prepare for the team challenge.
Weekly review meeting with mentors to refine teaching style & project scope.
Week 4
Collaborative design of the team STEM challenge (rules, scoring, integration of Robotics, Coding, AI, and 3D Design).
Conduct an initial mock trial of the challenge.
Session on effective communication with students.
2–3 independent student mentoring slots per EP.
