Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Assist with front office operations at the hotel.
Understand the working environment and volunteer responsibilities.
Onboarding space with the partner.
Field Visit: Bentota Boat Trip - Capture video clips of adventure tourism content featuring the hotel brand. Publish the content in the volunteer's social media and the companies social media pages. [Transport covered and provided by the hotel]
Digital Marketing - Create a comprehensive digital marketing plan.
Digital Marketing: Research tourism trends in Sri Lanka and audience behavior.
Support with table arrangements, order management, and buffet setup.
Week 2
Assist with front office operations at the hotel.
Carry out the necessary activities to execute the digital marketing plan developed in Week one.
Review the progress of digital marketing activities carried out so far and make any necessary adjustments to the plan by the end of week 2.
Field Visit: Moonstone Mine Mitiyagoda - Capture clips of history, architecture, and nature featuring the hotel brand. Publish the content in the volunteer's social media and the companies social media pages. [Transport covered and provided by the hotel]
Support with table arrangements, order management, and buffet setup.
Week 3
Review the progress of digital marketing activities carried out so far and make any necessary adjustments to the plan by the end of week 3.
Carry out the necessary activities to execute the digital marketing plan developed by the volunteer.
Support with table arrangements, order management, and buffet setup.
Assist with front office operations at the hotel.
Field Visit: Turtle Farm - Capture clips of conservation efforts and eco-tourism in Sri Lanka featuring the hotel brand. Publish the content in the volunteer's social media and the companies social media pages. [Transport covered and provided by the hotel]
Week 4
Present the impact created and the key learning to the management.
Support with table arrangements, order management, and buffet setup.
Carry out the necessary activities to execute the digital marketing plan developed by the volunteer.
Review the progress of digital marketing activities carried out so far and make any necessary adjustments to the plan by the end of week 4.
Field Visit: Kandewihara Temple - Capture clips to document scenic beauty and local wildlife featuring the hotel brand. Publish the content in the volunteer's social media and the companies social media pages. [Transport covered and provided by the hotel]
Assist with front office operations at the hotel.
