Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Participate in an onboarding session with school representatives to understand the current learning environment, students’ needs, and class structures.
Attend a training session on classroom engagement, communication skills, and how to effectively support main teachers as a Teacher Assistant.
Get introduced to main subject teachers and understand the curriculum focus areas (maths, reading, foreign language, etc.).
Week 2
Conduct an introductory session to present the project and introduce EPs to students as Teacher Assistants and Speaking Teachers.
Support teachers in running an initial knowledge assessment to identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement (use school data when available).
Week 3
Participate as Teacher Assistants during lessons in various subjects (maths, reading, or foreign language), providing one-on-one or small group support.
Lead Speaking Classes focused on pronunciation, vocabulary building, and conversational English through games, dialogues, and storytelling.
Week 4
Contribute to the final project report, summarizing achievements, challenges, and key learnings, and present it to AIESEC members
