Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Run a development session to improve participants’ skills and learning.
Introduce the local education context and SDG priorities.
Hold an intro session on literacy and numeracy led by experts.
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Week 2
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).

Organize a cultural visit to Museum Lampung to help Exchange Participants (EPs) learn about Lampung’s local history and heritage
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries to track their development
Setting up a creative systems to increase the math knowledge of the beneficiaries "Creative Math" (puzzles, games, group activities)
Dynamic: Setting up the "Book Club", present the books to be cover during the project and explain the dynamic to the beneficiaries.
Dynamic: Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
Week 3
Weekly "Book Club" Meeting
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Facilitate a cultural exchange to learn about local traditions and values.
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Weekly "Creative Math" Meeting
Week 4
Run a reflection and assessment sessions for Exchange Participants to review key learnings, track progress, and identify areas for growth.
Experience Lampung’s rich traditions through interactive cultural activities that foster cross-cultural understanding and appreciation of local heritage.
Conduct a hands-on batik-making workshop that allows Exchange Participants to explore local art, express creativity, and connect with Lampung’s cultural heritage.
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)

Week 5
Host cultural sessions to explore local traditions and deepen community connections.
Build EPs’ teaching and adaptability skills through real classroom experiences.
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)

Week 6
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Closing day with beneficiaries
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).

Spend a fun bonding day at Lembah Hijau to strengthen team connections, celebrate cultural exchange, and create lasting memories before the project’s farewell.
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
