Project
The project aims to impact SDG 4.7 by equipping youth with critical thinking, emotional intelligence, social skills, and sustainable practices through a holistic educational approach. Integrating interdisciplinary learning, social-emotional and wellness education, as well as community engagement, it fosters well-rounded individuals ready to address real-world challenges and promote global citizenship.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Prepare the workshop resources (Presentations, Handouts etc.) and logistical requirements for the activities that will be done in the following weeks. Receiving feedback from both partners and AIESEC regarding the workshop presentation materials.
Ice Breaker Activities with students and Get to know students through these activities.
Workshop on Introduction to Interdisciplinary Learning. Helping students think critically by understanding the interconnectedness of various subjects and how they can be applied to solve real-world problems.
Onboarding space to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Week 2
Workshop on Understanding the Strengths of Each Subject under Interdisciplinary Learning and How They Work Together in Real Life. Encouraging students to analyze and synthesize information from different disciplines to foster creative problem-solving.
Workshop on Introduction to Multiple Perspectives. Cultivating critical thinking by encouraging students to view problems from diverse perspectives, enhancing their ability to solve problems more effectively.
Workshop on Social-Emotional Learning - Exploring how emotions influence focus, memory, and motivation, and equipping students with tools to regulate emotions for personal growth. Include Mindfulness & Meditation Elements for the session with the support and guidance from the London Acedamy.
Week 3
Workshop on Self-Perception. Enhancing students’ social skills by improving self-awareness, which is key to interacting confidently and effectively with others.
Workshop on Global Leadership. Understanding how emotional intelligence plays a role in global leadership, and how empathy and collaboration drive global solutions.
Workshop on Emotional Awareness and Management through Interactive Activities. Helping students improve emotional intelligence by teaching them how to manage their emotions in challenging situations.
Week 4
Project debrief with the opportunity provider.
Workshop on Uncertainty. Teaching students how to face uncertainty, failure, and fear through social activities and mindfulness, promoting resilience and emotional growth.
Workshop on Digital Environments and Mental Health - Exploring how digital environments impact social interactions and mental health, teaching students how to engage positively and maintain healthy digital habits.
Workshop on Exploring Multiculturality - Promoting sustainability through cultural exchange, encouraging students to appreciate and respect diverse cultures and work towards creating a more inclusive, global community.
