The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Realizará un diagnóstico preliminar de las principales necesidades educativas, analizando los contenidos curriculares existentes y los aspectos que requieren refuerzo (gramática, vocabulario, conversación, pronunciación, etc.).
Con base en esta información, comenzará a planificar los contenidos y la metodología de enseñanza, asegurando un enfoque participativo y adaptado a las edades y niveles de los grupos.
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
El Voluntario Global participará en una jornada de incorporación junto con representantes de la organización anfitriona para conocer su estructura, el perfil de los estudiantes y los niveles actuales de inglés.
Week 2
Dynamic: Setting up the "Book Club", present the books to be cover during the project and explain the dynamic to the beneficiaries.
Dynamic: Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
: El voluntario desarrollará un plan de clases estructurado, que incluya módulos progresivos para fortalecer las cuatro habilidades lingüísticas: comprensión oral, comprensión escrita, expresión oral y escrita.
Los contenidos deberán adaptarse al contexto local, incorporando actividades lúdicas, recursos audiovisuales y ejercicios de práctica comunicativa.
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Además, elaborará una propuesta metodológica que promueva el aprendizaje activo mediante dinámicas grupales, juegos educativos, simulaciones y actividades interculturales.
La propuesta será presentada a la organización anfitriona para recibir retroalimentación y ajustes antes de su implementación.
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries to track their development
Setting up a creative systems to increase the math knowledge of the beneficiaries "Creative Math" (puzzles, games, group activities)
Week 3
El Voluntario Global elaborará materiales didácticos que acompañen las clases, como guías de vocabulario, fichas de trabajo, presentaciones, recursos digitales y actividades interactivas
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)

Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Junto con la organización, definirá un plan de implementación que establezca la frecuencia de clases, los grupos por nivel y los indicadores de impacto esperados (por ejemplo, mejora en comprensión o fluidez oral).
También diseñará evaluaciones diagnósticas y de progreso para medir el aprendizaje de los estudiantes
Week 4
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).

Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
El voluntario comenzará a impartir las clases de inglés siguiendo el currículo y la metodología planificada, asegurando una experiencia de aprendizaje motivadora, participativa y dinámica
Fomentará la interacción constante con los estudiantes mediante conversaciones guiadas, juegos de roles, debates y proyectos colaborativos
Además, promoverá el intercambio cultural, compartiendo aspectos de su país y aprendiendo de la cultura local para fortalecer la perspectiva global de los estudiantes.
Week 5
Weekly "Creative Math" Meeting
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
El Voluntario Global capacitará a docentes o tutores locales en el uso de las metodologías y materiales desarrollados, para asegurar la continuidad del programa de enseñanza del inglés una vez finalizado el intercambio.
Brindará herramientas prácticas para que la institución pueda seguir aplicando estrategias de aprendizaje activo y mantener la motivación del alumnado en el aprendizaje del idioma.

Week 6
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Finalmente, elaborará un informe de impacto con recomendaciones para la mejora continua del programa, garantizando la sostenibilidad del enfoque y el fortalecimiento de la educación lingüística local.
El voluntario participará en una jornada de cierre junto con la organización para reflexionar sobre los resultados obtenidos, los aprendizajes del proyecto y los próximos pasos para fortalecer la enseñanza del inglés.
Colaborará en la documentación final del proyecto, registrando el número de estudiantes beneficiados, las mejoras observadas en sus habilidades y las actividades realizadas.
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
