The project aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theater, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Week 2
Identificación de materiales necesarios: textos, imágenes, recursos digitales o didácticos. Búsqueda inicial de esos recursos, incluso reutilizables o descargables.
Lluvia de ideas para talleres pedagógicos adaptados al contexto local (lectoescritura, creatividad, habilidades blandas, etc.).
Se propone la creación de una organización donde la catalogación de los libros y demás materiales sea eficaz y de fácil búsqueda posterior. El objetivo principal es definir un sistema que permita a los usuarios de la biblioteca utilizarla de manera autónoma y eficiente.
Run artistic first step activities with beneficiaries in order for them to have first contact with the different artistic materials and media (e.g. drawings vs painting, sculpturing, fotographies etc.)
Organización física de la biblioteca (clasificación de libros, definición de zonas, accesibilidad)
Bring interactive classes to understand throughout the week the beneficiaries' backgrounds with arts and their professional and personal dreams for the future
Build and present activities calendar considering beneficiaries' from practical learning until "hands-on" i.e. peer tutoring, chain drawings, jigsaws, etc
Organize a brainstorming session where team members share ideas, themes, and inspirations for the project.
Divide the final project into smaller activities and define the responsibles for each part of the whole creation
Week 3
Ejecución de talleres piloto con dos grupos distintos, observando reacciones y participación
Selección y preparación de materiales pedagógicos (impresos, digitales, manipulativos).
Dynamic: Set up a short, fun challenge, such as creating a piece of art in a limited time or using only specific materials.
Create a Personal Development Plan for each participant to track their improvement weekly by a coaching system
Hold a workshop where participants can collaborate on a small art piece or experiment with different mediums related to the project (e.g., painting, sculpting, digital design).
Work on an initial draft of the project’s main piece (e.g., the first scenes of a play, the first strokes of a mural, etc.) and then hold a feedback session with beneficiaries and mentors or partner representatives.
Set aside time for individual or group reflection on personal artistic goals for the project. Participants can discuss what they hope to achieve or learn during the process.

Week 4
Coordinación con la organización para definir tiempos, espacios y convocatorias futuras.
Take the beneficiaries outside the classroom to explore the local community, including landmarks, parks, and cultural traditions.
Deliver weekly lessons connecting the development of art and creativity skills with beneficiaries dreams and plans for the future
Bring data towards Arts & Employability in the world and request a case study or groups presentation about the connection of arts with their future (diversified by topics, research areas, cultures etc)
Use libraries and computer laboratories to diversify the research spaces and build an interactive environment for their case study
Dynamic: Open Studio Sessions (Provide participants with dedicated, uninterrupted time to work on their individual art pieces while having access to a collaborative environment for feedback and inspiration.)
Identificación de grupos vulnerables o con menor acceso a oportunidades educativas. Planificación de una estrategia para salir a territorio (barrios, comunidades cercanas).
Visitas comunitarias para invitar, sensibilizar y diagnosticar barreras al acceso.
Adaptación de los talleres según las características de cada grupo (idioma, tiempo, contenido). Diseño y distribución de materiales de difusión (folletos, carteles, redes).
Week 5
Conclude the main project and run an Art Exhibition with all the artistic activities from the past weeks
Dynamic: Reflection on the artistic growth of the beneficiaries during the project
Dynamic: Art Pannel Discussion - invite local artists to share their experiences and insights about their creative process, challenges, and the importance of art in personal and professional development.
Dynamic: Open Studio Sessions (Provide participants with dedicated, uninterrupted time to work on their individual art pieces while having access to a collaborative environment for feedback and inspiration.)
Facilitación regular de talleres a diversos grupos (niñez, adolescentes, familias).
difusión tanto presencial como en redes sociales.
Producción de materiales que queden como legado: fichas, guías, rutinas sugeridas. Registro de la experiencia pedagógica para su futura réplica o mejora.
Feedback: Provide participants with constructive feedback on their art pieces in a supportive and collaborative environment, helping them refine their work and gain new insights.
Week 6
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Recopilación de feedback directo de los participantes de los talleres. Autoevaluación del voluntario/a sobre su desempeño, impacto y aprendizajes.
Elaboración de un informe final con resumen, resultados, desafíos y recomendaciones.
Presentación del informe y ajustes finales según el feedback recibido por la organización
