Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project

Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Week 2
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Introduce about the project and the volunteer to the students
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries to track their development
Setting up a creative systems to increase the math knowledge of the beneficiaries "Creative Math" (puzzles, games, group activities)
Dynamic: Setting up the "Book Club", present the books to be cover during the project and explain the dynamic to the beneficiaries.
Dynamic: Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
Week 3
Weekly "Book Club" Meeting
Weekly "Creative Math" Meeting
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Participate in organizing summer camps for middle school students to practice English.
Flexibly conduct soft skills class, English communication or drawing- presentation class - increase children's activeness
Take part in school field trips (once a month/session), visit attractions, enjoy fun activities, explore outdoors, visit museums, farms, etc.
Week 4

Week 6
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Conduct a revision space for students to present what they have learned, by a challenge or competition between students (math, reading, speaking, art,...)
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Closing day with beneficiaries
