Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
Fiesta de Gala: A Night of Welcome & Celebration (Welcoming Party & Gala Night)
Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
Week 2
Setting up a creative systems to increase the math knowledge of the beneficiaries "Creative Math" (puzzles, games, group activities)
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries to track their development
EduTalk: Get to know Government strategy knowledge to improve literacy and numeracy for school in Indonesia
Ruang Budaya: A space for us to learn and immerse in cultural heritage and learn local culture such as: batik, traditional dance, and traditional music.
Dynamic: Introduce beneficiaries to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games. (eg. Games like Scrabble, Pictionary, or Charades)
Dynamic: Setting up the "Book Club", present the books to be cover during the project and explain the dynamic to the beneficiaries.
Organize a quiz show-style activity where teams of beneficiaries answer questions related to math, vocabulary, or general knowledge.
Week 3
Weekly "Creative Math" Meeting
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the school (maths, reading skills, foreign language, etc).
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week. (math games, speaking club, lab practice, etc)
Weekly "Book Club" Meeting
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
Week 4
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week
HistoRace Odessey : Historical Race and Competition for EP and LV to create more meaningful and fun learning experience about historical journey of indonesia.
The It City Stroll: South Tangerang and Jakarta : City and Culture Exploration agenda bustling markets, vibrant neighborhoods, and iconic landmarks while immersing local life. Engage with friendly locals, experience traditional arts and crafts, and gain a deeper understanding of Indonesian culture and society. Broaden global perspective and develop valuable intercultural communication skills through this enriching exploration.

Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
