The project aims to contribute to SDG #17 by building up the capacity of local NGO, non-profit organizations and/or foundations to contribute to social impact in their communities by collaborating with local social projects and engaging with grass-groot initiatives.

Monday to Thursday, - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Project Activities

  • Week 1
    Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project
    Introductory session with the beneficiaries, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
    Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project
    Preparing the activities that will be done in the following weeks and receiving feedback from the partners and AIESEC
    Create an implementation plan on how the project should unfold and determine materials to be used
  • Week 2
    Analyse the business model of the partner (current procedures, identity, gather data from past projects/campaigns etc)
    Gather feedback from existing partners to improve collaboration
    Map out the competitors in the market and analyse what Good Case Practices can be taken from them
    Research potential new partners and interview them on the possibility of a partnership
    Build the Development Plan for the partner based on the data gathered and ask for feedback
  • Week 3
    Set up / Improve social media/website presence for the social impact project/campaign of the NGO
    Create or improve the branding guideline for the project/campaign
    Create or improve the Customer Flow for the partner
    Workshop: Stakeholder mapping and management training with the partner
    Create and prepare branding/networking events to improve the visibility of the partner
  • Week 4
    Organize branding events to promote the partner
    Run online campaigns to boost visitors on the partner's main platform
    Host different networking events to seek for alliances and possible investors/donators on the NGO social impact project/campaign
    Host an Open Doors Night for the community to better understand the partner's cause
    Debrief the events together with the partner and create a follow up plan in order to boost social media and create the alliances and gather the investors/donators
  • Week 5
    Develop a strategy for ongoing engagement with beneficiaries and stakeholders after the project's official end.
    Reach out to the possible new partners and investors and schedule meetings in which to discuss the possibility of a collaboration
    Conduct a strategy session with the NGO and partners to refine their social impact strategies based on the insights gathered throughout the project.
    Run on-demand workshops/activities to tackle the partner's projects deficiencies
    Conduct a training workshop focused on specific skills or knowledge areas for the NGO staff and volunteers, such as fundraising techniques, social media management, or impact measurement.
  • Week 6
    Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
    Analyse data to determinate outcome/impact results (level of awareness of beneficiaries post-project activities).
    Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
    Closing day with beneficiaries
    Debrief the impact of the project, how the beneficiaries developed, discuss about what went well and even better if and include this in the report
