The project aims to contribute to SDG #17 by building up the capacity of local NGO, non-profit organizations and/or foundations to contribute to social impact in their communities by collaborating with local social projects and engaging with grass-groot initiatives.

Project Activities

Week 1
Onboarding meeting with NGO representatives
Review of current procedures, identity strength and points for improvement
Analyse the scope of the social impact project/campaign and create a strategic plan to boost results
Design and develop clean, responsive, and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or relevant frontend frameworks.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and software engineering.
Debug and resolve technical issues to deliver polished and high-performing web applications.
Assist in basic database interactions and ensure data flow between different application layers.
Collaborate with the team to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality between frontend and backend components.
Implement features and functionality while adhering to modern UI/UX best practices.
Ensure web pages are optimized for performance, accessibility, and compatibility across devices and browsers.
Review the past projects/campaigns to analyse data, get insights and GCPs
Week 2
Interview potential partners about their needs and ability to collaborate
Market research within the local community; enhancing partnerships between stakeholders
Gather feedback from existing partners to improve collaboration
Map out current stakeholders
Ensure web pages are optimized for performance, accessibility, and compatibility across devices and browsers.
Implement features and functionality while adhering to modern UI/UX best practices.

Set up / Improve social media/website presence for the social impact project/campaign of the NGO

Workshop: Case solving
Workshop: Stakeholder mapping and management training with the NGO/non-profit
