The project aims to contribute to SDG #17 by building up the capacity of local NGO, non-profit organizations and/or foundations to contribute to social impact in their communities by collaborating with local social projects and engaging with grass-groot initiatives.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Review the past projects/campaigns to analyse data, get insights and GCPs
Identifying potential challenges or obstacles related to the job role.
Familiarizing oneself with the tasks and expectations associated with the job role.
Getting to know the workplace and the staff
Onboarding space with community representatives.
Analyse the scope of the social impact project/campaign and create a strategic plan to boost results
Onboarding meeting with NGO representatives
Review of current procedures, identity strength and points for improvement
Week 2
Market research within the local community; enhancing partnerships between stakeholders
Map out current stakeholders
Gather feedback from existing partners to improve collaboration
Interview potential partners about their needs and ability to collaborate
Build a Customer Flow for their partners
Research and goal setting
Define the specific financial targets and purpose for the funds
Explore organizations, foundations, and individuals who have funded similar projects
Make a list of top funders whose mission align with the project
Participating in workshops in schools if arranged
Week 3
Explore more and build on the research
Workshop: Stakeholder mapping and management training with the NGO/non-profit
Run on-demand workshops to tackle NGO projects deficiencies.
Create a branding guideline for the project/campaign
Set up / Improve social media/website presence for the social impact project/campaign of the NGO
Workshop: Case solving
Draft the main proposal outline covering objectives, goals, impact and budgeting
Develop visual materials like photos, videos to support the proposal
Build the network by reaching out to potential funders via calls or emails.
Participating in workshops in schools if arranged
Week 4
Refine the proposals based on feedback
Explore and build on the research
Work on the network by reaching out to potetial funders via calls or emails
Customize proposals for each specific funder by adjusting tone, focus areas, and examples
Proofreading and final checks
Participating in workshops in schools if arranged
Run on-demand workshops to tackle NGO projects deficiencies.
Host different networking events to seek for alliances and possible investors on the NGO social impact project/campaign
Organize branding events to promote NGO social impact project/campaign
Week 5
Run on-demand workshops to tackle NGO projects deficiencies.
Updating a tracking document with responses and funder feedback
Sending personalized updates or newsletters to donors
Create social media posts to share the journey of the fundraising initiative, keeping supporters engaged
Participating in workshops in schools if arranged
Host different networking events to seek for alliances and possible investors on the NGO social impact project/campaign
Week 6
Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Analyse data to determinate outcome results. Ensure to include analysis from the project/campaign to help to improve.
Collect data for outcome measurement. It's recommended to use NGO official data.
