Monday to Saturday, - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Project Activities

  • Week 1
    Define the community precisely, considering factors such as socioeconomic level, access to health services, prevalence of cancer risk factors, etc.
    Start building the plan for following weeks based on community needs, focusing on the issue that is more relevant for the community in the moment.
    Run an analysis on the different focus and projects of the partner and its priorities
    Learning space about the work field & understand possibilities of outdoor activities in the surroundings for future tasks based on the planning
    Onboarding space with partner to get to know the workers routines and lifestyles
    Conduct a community assessment to identify the main barriers to adopting healthy lifestyles and specific needs regarding cancer prevention information.
  • Week 2
    Research and analyze: Sustainable practices and learnings for agriculture work
    Workshop: Present to the partners Good Case Practices on agriculture activities that has been developed on recent studies
    Shadowing phase with partner on current agriculture practices
    Fieldwork event: Gardening and animal care during current season
    Documenting content developed in the previous weeks and posting in partners social media
    Define the goals of the project, such as increasing knowledge about risk factors, promoting healthy eating habits, or increasing participation in early detection programs.
  • Week 3
    Create, design, and use informational materials (brochures, posters, videos) to spread key messages on cancer prevention.
    mplement community gardens (home gardens), healthy cooking classes at the foundation's facilities, group exercise sessions, etc.
    Shadowing phase with partner on current agriculture practices
    Research and analyze: Sustainable practices and learnings for agriculture work
    Workshop: Present to the partners Good Case Practices on agriculture activities that has been developed on recent studies
    Fieldwork event: Gardening and animal care during current season
    Documenting content developed in the previous weeks and posting in partners social media
    rganize workshops on healthy eating, physical activity, tobacco and alcohol prevention, early cancer detection, and risk factors.
  • Week 4
    Workshop: Present ideas/examples of recycling activities to implement in the beneficiaries' daily routines
    Round Table: Responsible Consumption in our day-by-day life e.g water and energy control, food waste, obsolete devices usage, fashion industry and sustainability...
    Outdoor activities e.g Treasure hunting with children in contact with the nature, Artistic expression with teens using recycling materials, Running or other human-powered activities for young adults and adults
    Research and analyze: Current sustainable practices and responsible consumption actions the partner has
    Organize health fairs, vaccination drives at the foundation's facilities, etc.
    Seek collaboration with health centers, schools, community organizations, and local leaders to expand the project's reach.
    Documenting sustainable lifestyle practices introduced and implemented in the partners' site
  • Week 5
    Research and analyze: Current sustainable practices and responsible consumption actions the partner has
    Outdoor activities e.g Treasure hunting with children in contact with the nature, Artistic expression with teens using recycling materials, Running or other human-powered activities for young adults and adults
    Round Table: Responsible Consumption in our day-by-day life e.g water and energy control, food waste, obsolete devices usage, fashion industry and sustainability...

    Present the results of the projects and add final recommendations on sustainable living
    Analyse data to determinate outcome results (ways of sustainable building, living, agriculture)
    Collect data from what you have learned
    Continuously track activities to identify potential adjustments and assess progress.
    Ensure the necessary resources (materials, personnel, budget) are available to carry out the project.
    Begin implementing the planned activities, ensuring they are tailored to the needs and preferences of the community.
    Build final project report and presented to AIESEC members and community
  • Week 7
    Continuously track activities to identify potential adjustments and assess progress.
    Ensure the necessary resources (materials, personnel, budget) are available to carry out the project.
