About First Friends Pre School (Pvt) Ltd

First Friends Preschool Kandy, located at No. 01A Nittawala Road, Katugastota, Kandy, Sri Lanka, is an early childhood education centre that uses the AMI based Montessori method to give young children a strong foundation in learning. The preschool emphasizes hands on, child centred activities and creative play to foster independence and curiosity, and conducts classes in English for large group settings. As part of the First Friends education community (established in Kandy in 2011), it offers preschoolers a nurturing environment to take those all-important first steps in formal education.

Role

Responsibilities

· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the curriculum.

· Monitor, assess, and report on students’ progress and overall performance.

· Create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.

· Provide individual attention to students to support their academic and personal growth.

Maintain discipline and ensure a safe learning space in line with school policies.

Collaborate with fellow teachers, administration, and parents to enhance the educational experience.

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities as required.

Working hours

Monday to Friday

8:30 am - 4:30 pm
