Role

Responsibilities

Assess students academic levels in English and Mathematics to inform target setting.
Design customised, student-specific academic targets based on assessment data.
Develop and implement creative, evidence-based teaching strategies to support each target.
Train and mentor teaching staff on effective approaches to delivering SEN targets.
Monitor academic progress and maintain up-to-date records of each students development.
Provide regular feedback to teachers to improve instructional practices.
Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and behaviour analysts to ensure holistic support.
Take an active role in extra-curricular activities to promote inclusion and engagement.
Participate in all Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities offered by the school.
Engage in Behaviour Therapy training provided by the institution.
Take overall responsibility for the academic component of the individual education plans (IEPs).
