Role

Responsibilities
  •  Assess students academic levels in English and Mathematics to inform target setting.
  •  Design customised, student-specific academic targets based on assessment data.
  •  Develop and implement creative, evidence-based teaching strategies to support each target.
  •  Train and mentor teaching staff on effective approaches to delivering SEN targets.
  •  Monitor academic progress and maintain up-to-date records of each students development.
  •  Provide regular feedback to teachers to improve instructional practices.
  •  Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and behaviour analysts to ensure holistic support.
  •  Take an active role in extra-curricular activities to promote inclusion and engagement.
  •  Participate in all Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities offered by the school.
  •  Engage in Behaviour Therapy training provided by the institution.
  •  Take overall responsibility for the academic component of the individual education plans (IEPs).
