OUR GREATEST WEALTH IS OUR CHILDREN The first place a child is educated is the family. After that, comes the education in preschool and school life. When a child reaches the age of 3 to 3.5 years, they want to play with their peers. A mother, grandmother, or caregiver at home cannot meet the child's need to play with peers. For both playing with peers and learning to "share," attending preschool is the most suitable path. Kindergartens are not just places where young children are left in the absence of their mothers for care; they should not be. These places contribute significantly to the healthy development and maturation of children physically, mentally, and morally, through the collaboration of experts in child psychology, health, and education. If a mother is not working, families often emotionally resist sending their child to preschool. Beyond the knowledge that the child will learn at preschool (numbers, colors, concepts), the importance of this education lies in experiencing human relationships, socializing, learning to share, creating and sustaining play, and freeing themselves from dependency on their mother.
