The Ohanyan Educational complex (kindergarten and pre-school, K12 and university) was founded in 1997 by a family of educators and education administrators, who have been working in the state system for a long period. Having certain limitations to implementing innovative educational programs at the state institutions, the founders made the decision to establish an educational complex with a low student-teacher ratio, alternative and innovative educational programs, highly trained teachers and staff, and a focus on student-centered learning. Our mission is to provide a safe environment where everyone is valued and respected. We strive to prepare all students to become lifelong learners and responsible and innovative citizens ready to meet the challenges of the future. In partnership with families and the community, our goal is to create relevant learning opportunities for students — both inside and outside the classroom — that help them develop the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and character necessary to succeed in a technologically advanced world.
