About It Sounds Fun English

At It Sounds Fun we specialize in teaching English to children and teenagers from 2 to 16 years old. Through our exclusive methodology, our classrooms and our state-of-the-art audiovisual resources we seek to make learning effective and fun. Our main objective is the use of the language orally, the knowledge and correct production of the phonemes of English and their representation. At IT SOUNDS FUN we work in a pleasant and fun environment for everyone. We put a greater effort into pronunciation and understanding spoken English, as well as the assimilation of grammatical structures and vocabulary. We combine our successful teaching method with the latest technological resources and the JOLLY PHONICS system, to guarantee a fun educational experience.

Role

Responsibilities

Teach English lessons with children and teenagers from 2-18 years of age.
Prepare and plan your classes outside the classroom.
Create and produce classroom resources such as flashcards, posters etc.
Contribute to the overall assessment of the students by writing reports, and giving feedback to supervisors on students' progress.
Observe classes to help gain knowledge of classroom management and discipline.
Learn how to impart the content of the class in a fun and dynamic way which keeps the students engaged and participating.
Improve your knowledge of the grammar of the English language and how to best helpstudents reach their goals in speaking, listening, writing and reading.
Prepare older students for official Cambridge English exams, and receive instruction on the techniques for these exams and the knowledge needed to do well.
Correct writings from students' Cambridge exams.
Learn about games, activities and pair work exercises to keep your class having fun and learning at the same time.
You will be monitored and observed by our teacher coordinators, who will give you help and support for the duration of the internship
