Responsibilities  

- Develop students' abilities and interests by coordinating creative and educational activities.

- Maintain and update attendance records, and ensure adherence to school behavior policies.

- Facilitate extracurricular activities, including school concerts, sports, excursions, and other special programs.

- Take responsibility for the academic and personal progress of a primary-level cohort.

- Organize and optimize the classroom environment and resources to foster a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere.

- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to a broad spectrum of abilities within the classroom.

- Inspire and engage students through dynamic and imaginative lesson presentations.

- Promote personal and academic development, fostering a growth mindset and resilience.

- Maintain high standards of behavior to ensure that effective learning occurs, and cultivate positive relationships within the school community.

- Ensure student achievement exceeds standard benchmarks.

- Track, assess, and integrate both formative and summative assessments into weekly and termly planning, maintaining up-to-date school records.

- Regularly mark, record, assess, and report on student attainment and progress.

- Assign tasks promptly, review student work, provide timely feedback, and communicate progress to parents.

- Support the evaluation and improvement of curriculum delivery through data analysis, resource audits, and work scrutiny.

- Implement and adhere to established school policies and operational guidelines.

- Build and sustain positive relationships with parents, providing regular updates on student progress.

- Effectively manage classroom resources to support both teaching and learning objectives.

- Assist in initiatives spearheaded by school management to enhance academic performance.

- Ensure comprehensive curriculum coverage, fostering continuity, progression, and academic challenge.

- Encourage positive self-discipline and student behavior in alignment with the school's conduct policy.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop best practices within the educational framework.

- Participate actively in school-wide extracurricular programs, contributing to the holistic development of students.

- Ensure students work well above average academic standards.

- Attend and participate in school meetings to monitor and evaluate subject delivery, conduct work scrutiny, perform resource audits, and analyze data.

- Review, mark, and assess student work, providing feedback on assignments on the day they are given. Report student progress to parents regularly.
