Role

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a dynamic and engaging French language curriculum.
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with language learning objectives.
  • Deliver comprehensive French language instruction to students of varying proficiency levels.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Regularly evaluate and assess students' language proficiency.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support students' language development.
  • Integrate cultural elements into language lessons for a holistic learning experience.
  • Organize cultural activities and events to enhance students' understanding of French culture.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies for a conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Regularly communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' progress.
  • Collaborate with staff, participate in school meetings, and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest teaching methods and language acquisition research.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
  • Demonstrate native or near-native proficiency in French.
  • Foster a communicative and immersive learning experience in the French language.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
  • Proficiently use technology for instructional purposes.
  • Familiarity with language learning software and educational apps.
  • Provide additional support to students with varying learning needs.
  • Differentiate instruction to address individual student requirements.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead extracurricular language-related activities.
  • Enhance language learning through events and projects beyond regular lessons.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards in education.
  • Contribute positively to the school community and uphold a high standard of professionalism.
