AIESEC INTERNS are believed to be an asset to the preschool program and are expected to fully participate rather than observe activities in the classroom. They are teacher assistants there to guide, help and assist the students in a pair-teaching capacity. They will be fully aware of the planned weekly activities which will be shared via Google drive and can communicate with the teacher to add any ideas. Once a month there will be a lesson about a foreign country to be presented by the AIESEC intern and we would appreciate the foreign teachers insight into its preparation and practice. Participate in the lessons actively especially if the class size is big. For example, when the English teacher gives the instructions of an activity in the book, the intern teacher should also show and demonstrate the activity to the other half of the class.  Required to work 5 days a week and to arrive at school by 9.00 am at the latest and remain till 4pm.  Lunch is 30 minutes. The lessons start at 9.30. Go to the classroom at the same time as the English teachers and do the warm-up activities. Share the teachers work in the class like delivering the books (4 year old group) helping the students while coloring, supervising etc. Attend the departmental meetings to plan the weeks ahead. Give a great importance to pronunciation and intonation and appropriate dress and behavior in all student and teacher interactions, spending as much time as possible with the students during meals,playtime and breaks. Help with the rehearsals and attend the end of the year shows, parent meetings, preschool specal events etc. Prepare a presentation to describe your country and culture and other countries/cultures you are familiar with to the students.
