Role

Responsibilities
  1. Know and apply the institutional philosophy: humanistic, socio-constructivist, personalized and inclusive, along with the pedagogical and administrative processes used in the school to maintain a good and healthy coexistence, assertive communication with all its members and work in the formation of happy and intelligent people. 
  2. Learn how to use the platform (Runachay) used by the school where he/she must carry out the annual and weekly planning, periodically upload grades, send homework, send and respond to communications, control attendance and complete information as required.
  3. Weekly planning of activities to be carried out using the learning cycle and its different processes, pointing out skills to be worked on and evaluation indicators, using technological and digital resources, dynamic, attractive, practical and experiential methodologies with the objective of making classes fun and varied, using the official format of the institution that will be indicated to the teacher.
  4. Teach classes using a variety of teaching methods and techniques, with innovative and varied methodologies such as: oral presentations, use of didactic materials and educational platforms, music, games and practical activities inside and outside the classroom. Learn the importance of how to use and make the best of the English books we use with their platforms and use them properly. Always remembering the importance of maintaining order, good behavior and harmonious coexistence.
  5. Plan, prepare, implement, and correct assignments, lessons, and evaluations in general. These must be aligned with the educational standards and be appropriate for the age, abilities and/or needs of the students. Complying with the internal policies of the institution and, when necessary, the times established for their approval.
  6. Provide counseling, support and academic reinforcement to students who need it by targeting their academic progress, social skills, emotional or special needs related to their subject.
  7. Create and maintain cordial, assertive, respectful, open and constant communication with parents, representatives or work colleagues, to discuss and seek academic progress and solution to any problems or concerns they may present. Seeking to ensure a cohesive and effective educational environment.
  8. Actively participate in workshops or teacher training courses given by the institution or external centers to keep the teacher updated on the latest trends and practices and improve their skills and knowledge for their professional development. Listen to feedback from the authorities on the observed classes, accept the observations, commit to improve if applicable and work on the points to be improved.
  9. Work as a team, within or outside their subject, with other teachers or staff of the institution; in the planning and implementation of various activities such as pedagogical, recreational, sports, social activities, etc. developed by the institution for the integral development of students.
  10. Be responsible, tidy up and keep your workspace, documents, materials and classrooms after teaching clean and teach and motivate students to do so as well.
