Responsibilities

** IMPORTANT** Weekends can be changeable. We are looking foran intern who will be teaching at kindergarten and 151 grade classes. 

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the individual needs of young learners.

2. Create a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, mutual respect, and cultural understanding.

3. Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a structured and safe learning environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.

4. Teach English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, using a variety of instructional strategies and materials to cater to different learning styles.

5. Integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance language acquisition and engage students in interactive learning experiences.

6. Foster a love for English language learning by incorporating creative and stimulating activities, games, and projects that encourage student participation and active engagement.

7. Provide regular feedback and assessment of student progress, maintaining accurate records of student performance and communicating effectively with parents or guardians.

8. Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to support interdisciplinary learning and create a cohesive educational experience for students.

9. Demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, and a strong work ethic by adhering to the school's policies, procedures, and code of conduct.

10. Communicate effectively and maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, colleagues, and school administrators, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching, Education, or a related field. A teaching certificate or diploma in English language teaching (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is preferred.

2. Previous experience teaching English to young learners, preferably in a preschool or early childhood education setting.

3. Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with young children, establish rapport, and create a supportive learning environment.

5. Creativity and enthusiasm in delivering engaging lessons and activities, while adapting to the diverse needs and learning styles of students.

6. Knowledge of child development principles and an understanding of the unique needs and characteristics of young learners.

7. Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

8. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan lessons, manage classroom activities, and meet deadlines.

9. Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning, staying updated with current trends and developments in English language teaching methodologies.

10. Integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, demonstrating a high level of personal and professional responsibility.
