About Children's Multilingual School

The Children’s Multilingual School is a Full French immersion School in Lagos, Nigeria also teaching other languages like Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Nigerian languages etc as second languages. We have two main streams. The full time School and the after school stream.

Role

Responsibilities

Develop students’ abilities, interests and coordinate through mode of creative activities.
Present subject matter utilizing range of teaching materials and techniques.
Guide discussions and supervise work in class.Test and analyze students for customized progress in oral and written work.
Enforce personal development by supporting students to utilize and develop capabilities.
Maintain and update attendance records as well as school discipline.
Conduct extra-curricular activities like supporting school concerts, sport, excursions along with special interest programs.
Head responsibility for progress of class of primary age students.
Organize classroom as well as learning resources to develop positive learning atmosphere.
Plan, prepare and present lessons catering to needs of entire ability range within classes.
Motivate students with enthusiasm and imaginative presentation.
Prepare and facilitate positive student development.
To encourage high standards of behaviour so effective learning can take place, and good relationships can be formed within the school community.
Ensuring your students are working well above average
To keep appropriate and efficient school records and tracking, integrating formative and summative assessment into weekly and termly planning. ·
To regularly mark, record, assess and report on the attainment and progress of pupils. ·
Giving assignments on the day that it has been set for. Reviewing the assignments, giving feedback to the parents and correcting the assignments
To assist with the monitoring and evaluation of subject delivery through (e.g. work scrutiny, resource audits and data analysis).
To implement agreed school policies and guidelines. ·
To promote positive relationships with the parents within class and school and regularly report to parents regarding their child’s progress. ·
To manage their classroom resources effectively.
To support initiatives introduced by School management.
To ensure they provide effective curriculum coverage, continuity, progression and challenge.
To develop a sense of positive self-discipline in all children in accordance with the school’s policy. ·
To work co-operatively with other staff members to develop practice within school.
To participate in the extra-curricular activities of the school.
