Role
Responsibilities
- To develop practical skills in pharmaceutical formulation development, laboratory techniques, product optimization, evaluation, and quality assessment.
- To provide hands-on training in the development of tablets, capsules, syrups, suspensions, emulsions, gels, ointments, and other suitable pharmaceutical dosage forms. To familiarize students with preformulation, API and excipient selection, compatibility studies, formulation techniques, processing, and optimization. To provide practical exposure to the selection and application of binders, diluents, disintegrants, lubricants, preservatives, emulsifiers, stabilizers, suspending agents, and other pharmaceutical excipients. To develop skills in pH, viscosity, dissolution, disintegration, moisture content, stability, microbial quality, packaging, and documentation, as applicable to different formulations.
- To familiarize students with GMP, GLP, SOPS, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, batch documentation, and basic regulatory practices relevant to pharmaceutical product development.
