Role

Responsibilities

Policy Analysis & Evaluation: Examining major EU policy frameworks, specifically the European Green Deal, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the Farm to Fork Strategy, and the EU Biodiversity Strategy.

Scientific Investigation: Researching the root causes, indirect drivers, and underlying factors contributing to biodiversity decline in European agricultural landscapes.

Regulatory Research: Analyzing environmental frameworks at both the EU level and the individual Member State level.

International Collaboration: Contributing to an ongoing Horizon-funded international project and working alongside global research partners.

Interdisciplinary Synthesis: Integrating policy analysis with environmental science to develop impactful solutions for sustainability.

Strategic Reporting: Assisting in the development of research outputs that bridge the gap between academic findings and practical EU policymaking.

Who can apply: candidates who follow master/ PhD studies in socio-economic, environmental, or agricultural fields
