Role

Responsibilities
  • Study and analyse core areas of cybersecurity, including, Network security, Cryptography, Ethical hacking, Digital forensics and Threat intelligence
  • Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, attack vectors, and security frameworks
  • Review case studies and existing literature to understand real-world security breaches
  • Identify system vulnerabilities and propose data-driven security solutions
  • Evaluate effectiveness of different security models and protocols
  • Work on research-based projects and dissertations (for Hons. with Research track)
  • Apply theoretical concepts to practical experimentation and validation
  • Use tools and labs to simulate cyber-attacks and defence strategies
  • Perform testing, analysis, and reporting of security outcomes
  • Participate in research initiatives, hackathons, and technical forums
  • Collaborate on projects involving innovation in cybersecurity practices
  • Document findings through research reports, technical papers, and presentations
  • Communicate insights and recommendations based on analytical evidence
