About SolarDuck
SolarDuck is a pioneering Dutch-Norwegian company revolutionizing Offshore Floating Solar Photovoltaics
(OFPV). Established in 2019 by experienced maritime industry entrepreneurs, we are headquartered in
Rotterdam, with an office in Japan. Our vision is to Pioneer Sustainable Offshore Energy Systems.
Whilst the company’s long-term objective remains to deploy large-scale solar arrays offshore, we are seeing
momentum building in the short term for smaller versions of our systems to be deployed in support of subsea
projects, with applications in the offshore Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), oil & gas and potentially security
& defence areas.
Role
Responsibilities
The existing team member has a wide range of accountabilities, but during her absence we will reshuffle her tasks to accommodate to the selected candidate. The focus will be mainly on the following:
- Lead discrete market research packages and project tracking.
- Support cost calculations and proposal generation.
- Contribute to Business Development strategy and generation of supporting memos.
- Support client and partner engagements.
- Coordinate some internal information management and weekly reporting.
- Assist on-going work on uses cases and business case of SolarDucks offerin.

Monday to Friday
8:30 am - 5:30 pm
