About Shruggie
Shruggie is a specialized IT company based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, focused on Linux and embedded systems engineering. We provide Linux kernel upstreaming, embedded Linux consultancy, performance analysis and optimization, and in-depth root-cause analysis of complex issues in embedded software stacks. We work on technically challenging problems where system-level understanding, precision, and clean engineering matter.
Role
Responsibilities
- Research, design, implement, and manage software programs
- Develop, test, and evaluate new applications and features
- Identify and implement improvements to existing systems
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Assess technical feasibility and operational practicality of solutions
- Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures
- Deploy software tools, processes, and performance metrics
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems
- Provide user training and technical support when required
- Collaborate closely with developers, UX designers, and business/system analysts
