About Orenda books

Orenda Books is a British-based publishing house that publishes literary and crime fiction. The London-based publisher was established in 2014 and publishes debut and existing authors including Ragnar Jónasson, Thomas Enger, Michael Grothaus, Gunnar Staalesen, and Kati Hiekkapelto.

Role

Responsibilities
  • Assist with editorial support tasks under supervision, including proofreading, copy preparation, and content coordination
  • Support marketing and promotional activities, including campaign preparation and material coordination
  • Assist in managing and scheduling social media content across relevant platforms
  • Provide support for production administration, including tracking schedules, files, and internal documentation
  • Assist with publicity activities, such as press lists, media monitoring, and promotional outreach support
  • Support metadata maintenance, ensuring accuracy across internal systems and external platforms
  • Assist with digital advertising activities, including asset preparation and campaign tracking
  • Learn and use publishing tools and workflow systems through formal training
  • Support international publicity and marketing initiatives under guidance from senior staff
  • Perform general administrative and publishing-related tasks as required
