Role
Responsibilities
- Structure the Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) implementation project, aligning with the board and involved departments.
- Map all cost centers and company expenses from zero, without reference to previous budgets.
- Develop methodologies and criteria to justify and approve each expense in collaboration with department managers.
- Create spreadsheet models, reports, and dashboards for analysis, monitoring, and periodic budget reviews.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and alignment meetings with leaders and teams to disseminate the ZBB concept.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource reallocation to more strategic areas.
- Ensure integration of ZBB with strategic planning, accounting, and financial controlling.
- Monitor budget execution, proposing adjustments and revisions according to economic or strategic changes.
- Produce periodic reports for the board with analyses, indicators, and recommendations.
