- Company and Industry Understanding
The internship involves understanding HYOJITO Co., Ltd., observing the current state of multilingual support, the efficiency of information transmission, and the impact of visual design on different people, thereby grasping the characteristics of information design in public displays in Japan.
- Extracting challenges from a global perspective
Analyze the information needs and information behavior of users from diverse cultural backgrounds, and based on the results, identify challenges in information transmission in intercultural communication from various perspectives such as clarity of information and design. Then, deepen knowledge on multicultural adaptation in information design through discussions with employees.
- Devising solutions for challenges in intercultural communication
Devise specific information design improvement plans from multiple perspectives for challenges in intercultural communication. At this time, explore how HYOJITO Co., Ltd.'s display technology can be applied to hypothetical situations, and theoretically understand the principles of information design and the possibilities of display technology.
- In-depth analysis of the participants home market
Research the advertising and display culture of a participant's home country, compare it with Japan, and identify the challenges and strengths of information transmission in each culture. Then, consider whether the knowledge gained from Japanese display technology can be utilized to solve information transmission challenges in the participant's home country, and devise specific ideas for what kind of information design applications could be adopted.
- Participation in academic seminars
Participate in an academic seminar organized by AIESEC, inviting university professors to deepen learning in specialized academic fields. Solidify knowledge gained during the training period through sessions led by professors and discussions with participants.
- Delivering the final presentation
Present a comprehensive analysis and recommendations summarizing the insights gained, research findings, new possibilities for information design in intercultural communication, and the future outlook for multicultural coexistence solutions developed during the training. Furthermore, deepen the presentation content by receiving feedback from diverse perspectives.
