Role
- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients (importers/exporters) through online platforms, databases, and industry directories.
- Client Outreach: Initiate contact with prospective clients via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn to introduce our freight services and assess their logistics needs.
- Market Research: Analyze trends in international trade, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to assist in shaping effective sales strategies.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update the customer database with accurate information and track outreach efforts using CRM tools.
- Proposal Support: Assist in preparing customized proposals and quotations in coordination with the operations and pricing teams.
- Follow-ups and Coordination: Follow up with leads and coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Reporting: Compile regular reports on lead status, client interactions, and conversion rates to measure progress and suggest improvements.
- Learning & Development: Attend internal training sessions to understand freight forwarding processes, industry jargon, Incoterms, and documentation.
