About Foton Cummins Thailand Engine Co., Ltd.
Based on the expected growth of the commercial vehicle market in Thailand and ASEAN, Foton Motor (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and CP Auto Holdings Co., Ltd. jointly established Foton CP Auto Co., Ltd. and CP Foton Sales Co., Ltd. in July 2019. They launched heavy-duty trucks, medium-duty trucks, light trucks, and buses in the Thai and ASEAN markets, with plans to introduce new energy products later based on market demand.
After nearly four years of operation, the joint venture sales company has built a certain market foundation. With the continuous introduction of products in recent years, the company has now achieved mainstream market coverage for both traditional energy and new energy commercial vehicles.
Against this backdrop, Foton Cummins Thailand Engine Co., Ltd. was established to supply engines to Foton CP Auto Co., Ltd. and gradually expand into the Southeast Asian market.
