Role
Responsibilities
- Perform precise and thorough diagnostics of faults in industrial electronic equipment
- Repair or replace faulty electronic components in accordance with internal procedures and quality standards
- Prepare detailed technical reports and cost estimates (repair and diagnostic reports)
- Ensure all repaired equipment meets safety requirements and legal regulations
- Conduct preventive maintenance and monitoring to reduce future breakdowns
- Test and validate repaired equipment to ensure full functionality and reliability
- Inspect the electronic boards of the equipment, identify defective components and replace them according to internal quality standards
- After repairs are made, test equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly and meets the required technical parameters. A test of the devices is carried out under load with a motor
- Prepare a repair estimate that includes: the identified defects, the actions taken to remedy and the list of components used
- Work with increased care in the use of diagnostic and repair equipment, to avoid any risk. Use multimeters and other specific tools to check electronic components. Use soldering stations and heat guns to solder components
- Perform preventive maintenance on certain equipment, even if it is operating normally. Activities include: cleaning dust, changing thermal paste, and replacing worn-out or out-of-speck components. These actions are performed to prevent a possible failure of the device in the future
