InStep, is the international flagship internship offered
by Infosys Limited, headquartered in Bangalore, India.
InStep was founded in 1999, by Infosys Founder Mr.
Narayana Murthy. It welcomes students from varied
backgrounds, cultures, and countries to India. And if it
matters, it is also a fully paid internship program. This
prestigious program offers students from top academic
institutions worldwide (Harvard, MIT, Princeton,
Stanford, Oxford, INSEAD and of the likes) the
opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in
various fields such as artificial intelligence, machine
learning, cybersecurity, and more. Interns are
mentored by Infosys leaders and have the chance to
create intellectual property, including patents and
research publications. The program covers all
expenses, including flight tickets, visa fees and more.

Responsibilities
- Sourcing Candidates from Diverse Backgrounds:Identify and attract candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines to ensure a diverse and inclusive internship program.
- Evaluating Candidates and Matching Them to Relevant Projects:Assess candidates skills, experiences, and interests to match them with suitable projects that align with their career goals and the organizations needs.
- Managing Logistics:Coordinate all logistical aspects of the internship program, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and onboarding processes, to ensure a smooth transition for interns.
- Planning Activities for Interns:Organize a variety of activities, such as workshops, networking events, and team-building exercises, to enhance the interns professional development and integration into the company culture.
- Ensuring Interns Have an Amazing Experience:Provide ongoing support and mentorship to interns, addressing any concerns they may have and ensuring they have a positive and enriching experience throughout their stay.
- Building a Network of Interns:Foster a strong community among interns from the worlds top universities, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Monitoring Intern Performance:Regularly review and provide feedback on interns performance, helping them to grow and succeed in their roles.
- Revamping InStep Portal: Collaborating with various teams to revamp the InStep Portal alongside the IPAM head.
