At GIEC, We are NRCan Registered Energy Advisors. Registered Energy Advisors are not employees of Natural Resources Canada, Government Canada or any other such entity; we are rather independent businesses or individuals licensed by the ministry of Natural Resources Canada to deliver EnerGuide rating evaluations for eligible homes in Canada. For one to be an NRCan Registered Energy Advisor/Auditor or REA for short, it means that they have met and maintain stringent qualifications required to deliver EnerGuide evaluations for eligible homes in Canada. For Quality Assurance, we at GIEC, work in affiliation with a select few Service Organizations. At GIEC, we are committed to our nation’s climate goals to reduce our carbon footprint through sound building science principles. In this mandate we work closely with homeowners and other stake holders.
