Role

Responsibilities

Role Description:

  • As a Project Excellence trainee, you will assist the operations team in day-to-day planning and execution of activities. You will be given the opportunity to lead your own activities and work independently, collaborating with teams across UCB. You will need to be communicative and enjoy interacting with people, as you will have to work with a lot of stakeholders. We work in an accelerated environment, and we need to be flexible to reorganize priorities and perform different functions at all times.

Main activities:

1. Organizing trainings across UCB

  • Maintain updated training calendar.
  • Training documentation logs, materials etc.
  • Assign and monitor training completion.

2. Operations and Processes

  • Develop process documents.
  • Document best practices across the Community to develop case studies.
  • Assist to develop guidance to the teams that is relevant to their day-to-day roles.

3. UCB Cares Community

  • Assist in onboarding of new and existing members.
  • Prepare presentations and materials.
  • Maintain updated Community list.
  • Assist in preparing Community calls.

Relevant information:

  1. The trainee will be based in Brussels, HQ, and the manager is based in Switzerland. There will be opportunity for f2f meeting with the manager every second month, and the rest of the team sits in HQ, where there will be opportunity for meetings.
  2. The person needs to be communicative and social-friendly. There is a lot of interaction with stakeholders needed and need to communicate proactively with all levels of seniority.
  3. High level of organization, attention to detail and fast-paced environment is a must for this role.
