About Volkswagen International Finance N.V.

Volkswagen International Finance N.V. is one of the funding vehicles of the company’s ultimate parent, Volkswagen AG. The company raises funds by issuing bonds and commercial paper in the international capital markets and lends the proceeds to Volkswagen Group companies and affiliates. The accounting department is responsible for the complete Financial administration including the statuary reporting as well as the monthly group reporting. The main focus is the Treasury Accounting. This includes the valuation and accounting of financial instruments and the Hedge Accounting of derivatives.

Role

Responsibilities

You will be working in a small international team, reporting directly to the Head of Accounting: You will learn the essential basics of an accounting administration by performing daily operational tasks:

o daily bank reconciliation

o basic cash management

o processing of Accounts Payable

o execution of creditor payments

You will also support the team with the month-end closing procedure for group reporting. You will discover the Treasury Accounting for financial instruments and hence gain knowledge of the international accounting standard IFRS 9. You will get to know SAPs newest ERP system S/4HANA with special modules for Treasury and Risk Management, Cash Management, In-house cash and certainly Financial Accounting.
